My name is Christine Nicole O’Dell and I am 18 years old. I live in Mt. Nebo, West Virginia. I am currently a senior at Nicholas County High School and will be graduating in May 2008.I played volleyball for 3 years. I was saved when I was 7 years old. Ever since I started school I have had a rough road. Even though I was bullied through grade school, and have battled with self-esteem I feel God has let experiences in my life prepare me to His use. After losing my closest uncle in September of 2006 to drugs, God has put a call on my life to reach out to those who don’t know God and try to fill the void with the things in this world. Although the road has been hard I have never been closer to God than I am now. He has been so good to me. He has put me in different leadership roles that have helped me grow closer to Him. Iam part of a cabinet called the The Hopewell Association as a song leader. We hold a youth rally once a month at varias churches. I’m also part of the FCA leadership team. After high school I plan to attend college for nursing. After I graduate I would to go on missionary trips with doctors if that is what God calls me to do. The Lord has blessed me so much and I love Him so much. I know this is the call God has put in my life. I know it won’t be an easy road, but with God anything is possible. Whenever times got rough, I always remembered there’s always a test before there’s a testimony.

Christine,
It sounds like God has brought you through alot. I am thrilled at the fact that your experiences have brought you closer to Him. I am excited that you are on the Ireland team and am trusting that God will use your experiences to His glory this summer.
God always has to take us through trials to get us to where we are today. I can see that He has brought you through some tough times and He’s not done yet, I am so excited to see how God moves through you while in Ireland!
